I hope you don't think I was ignoring you Ron it just appeared as if
Jim and Dave were taking care of your question and I don't have a
scanner here anyway. Did you get all of the information that you
needed?
I didn't want to say anything about your pruchase of the Kitfox at
the time I picked up the J. I just figured you would puzzle it out
on your own. So I guess you'll just have to sell that not so foxy
beast and pay Mark B. a visit and get one of the Gull 2k's or
Odessy's. I won't put any more salt in your already sore wound by
telling you I am having a ball...oops.

Re: still hopin'
Yes, I'm fine with the info from the guys. I can take it from here. I only
wanted a copy of your W&B because I was so familiar with it, and could
relate to it.
I'm still very happy to hear that you are enjoying the plane. As I said
earlier, the seller sometimes worries that the buyer may feel that he was
taken advantage of (as I was with this Kitfox). I was concerned about this
too, but it has been good to hear that you are so satisfied & positive.
Have FUN!

Re: still hopin'
One more remark before bedtime.
Regarding the 2K model, we have a buyer/builder very near to me here that
had a LOT of problems building his. So much that he had to take it to Mark
to straighten it out. I was shocked to hear that the product that goes out
the door does not necessarily go together as claimed, and that some of the
parts (fuselage) just don't fit. For that kind of money you would expect it
to go together perfectly and not require another expensive trip to the
'factory'.
Caveat Emptor! My 2¢ for prospective buyers,

Re: still hopin'
Ron, do you mean that the fiberglass fuselage shell did not fit
correctly to the steel cage? Or, was it the attachment of some other
parts to the fuselage cage?
Thanks!

Re: still hopin'
As I understand it, that was the problem. I didn't get a chance to see it
myself, so can't comment beyond this.

Re: still hopin'
Could it also be that the builder is not experienced? The gull isn't
exactly a tinker toy set up like some of the other ultralights.
Everything I see on mine with the exception of the panel
installation looks really well done. I will have a fun winter
project redesigning the panel and laying out the wiring (spagetti
now). However coming ouit of Navy electronics I may be a
little.....picky. This however does not affect the flying
performance one little bit. Yip Yip Yahoo Thunder Gull Awaaay! LOL
