I got my Gull2K kit today!!!!!!!!!!

I got up at 3AM this morning, to drive my pickup up to Santa
Maragarita by 10AM. Mark and Leslie, and one of Mark's crew loaded
me up, and I got back home by 7PM this evening. whew!! What a day!!!
I am really excited that everything is finally coming together, so
that I can eventually fly a ThunderGull of my own. I just had to
tell you guys before I went to bed. It has been a long day, so I'm
off to bed now! YAAAWN!

By the way, I have finished painting my wings and they look pretty

Painting your wings, huh. Your gonna look sharp at Ronnie's. It is
coming up pretty quick. I am hoping the temperature stays like this and

I am out of bed now! I have been out in the garage doing an
inventory on the parts, and finding storage places for the parts
that I will not need until later in the project. The 'D' cell is all
set up in it's place of honor to start the wing assembly. The 300
mile drive was a little hard on the plastic film that protects the
aluminum leading edge of the 'D' cell, so I had to patch some of the
film with packaging tape film to minimize scratching. After I get
the kit all sorted out, I plan to spend the rest of the day with the
manual, like I promised Mark. :-)

Congratulations to you on finishing your wing painting job! I hope
you plan to put photos of your plane's new paint job in the photo
section of this list sometime soon?

BTW, my box 'C' of parts was a recycled box that you had used to
send something to EarthStar by Priority Mail. :-)
