Hi Mark,
Where does the Earthstar wing get placed in this graph? Also wondering why the 23012 sits up so high, while being a 1930s airfoil and mostly unused; & ought not the C130 Hercules be trying out your airfoil instead of 63A318/64A412 on the outer wing, after adjusting the airfoil for a different cruise speed; or vice versa?

Hi
The gulls have a special airfoil.
It has a max lift coefficient of 2 but with gentle
Stall so you can fly slow with out having the carpet
Pulled abruptly out from under you.
The 23012 airfoils was a good choice at the time
Since I had not yet designed my thunder gull
Airfoil.
Happy Flying

Re: wrt wings
(offtopic) what are cryogenically treated torsion bars? Grumman aerospace made them for the delorean's gull wing doors, so they open easily despite being heavy. That's one aero tech in cars that always makes me curious, wonder about others
