WTB THunder Gull or Gull 2000 flying or not

Im having Gull withdrawls and would like to buy a Thnundergull or a Gull 2000


Does anyone know exactly what a Thundergull JT weighs empty...? I heard #450 from one guy with a 503
and from a Canadian, #697 lbs!!!!
I know the GUll 2000 is smaller and probably lighter, is it more stable because of the smaller more streamlined fuselage>? I like the room behind the seat in the THundergulls to carry camping gear as opposed to the Gull 2000 in which you have to stuff the gear in all around you...

The JT2 is the Ultralight trainer. J2 is two seats single control. JT is not an official designation. You will have to ask the seller for more clearification.
