Very interesting. As the novelty of cell phones and other electronics wear off to reveal that disposal is now becoming a real problem, the Home Solar movement is discovering that Utilities don’t know what to do with the excess power available to their systems that don’t involve hefty additional investments by the homeowners. I am a proponent of Solar and all things renewable, but it is amazing how scaling effects and costs to rebuild our infrastructure can negate the anticipated results.
