Thundergull J2

My hangar mate is in the process of possibly purchasing a used J2.
Other than the obvious inspection areas, is there anything peculiar
or unique to the J2 that we should be paying close attention to?

Is it a J2 or a JT2? I have a J2, and I'm sorry that it wasn't a JT2. Other
than that it is a very fun aircraft. Make sure that it has dual controls
though.

Actually it is a 1995 J model.

So it's a single seat J? Or a two seat J?

Well from what I understand it is a single seat J that has been
extended by the factory to accommodate a small jump seat in the
rear. The bird was a factory demo at one of the Osh-Gosh events.
