It is likely that the person that tensioned your turnbuckles did not hold the cables while turning the barrel. Allowing the cable to spin with the barrel. When you tighten the turnbuckle, hold the cable islets so that they don't spin. Than wen you have the proper tension, and test it and are sure you are satisfied. Than use .032 safety wire and cut a price about a foot long, insert it through the hole in the barrel, centering it,
Than rap through the islet and than rap 7 times neatly around the stem on each end of the turn buckle, as per the drawing in our manual.
