Phantom Aircraft Helps Set Up Cancer Fund
Dear Flyer,
This message comes to you as a member of the flying community.
The following article was published in the recent (May 2003) issue of
UltralightFLYING magazine.
"Cancer is no respecter of persons, as a Michigan family has recently
discovered. The young daughter of Phantom Aircraft's bookkeeper is
struggling with a cancerous tumor on her brain. Her name is Sarah and she is
undergoing experimental therapy at Duke University at Durham, North
Carolina. "It has been quite a financial struggle for this family to travel
back and forth from Michigan to North Carolina during her treatments, along
with the medical expenses associated with this type of treatment," says
Phantom Aircraft Company owner, Pat Schultheis. "Friends have convinced this
family to develop a website about Sarah - who is a very gifted young lady -
and tell her story."
A cancer fund has also been set up to help defray the costs associated
with Sarah's treatment. "A friend of Sarah's family has offered to match
dollar for dollar any contributions made, so anything you can contribute
will be worth double," says Schultheis. "To do our part, Phantom Aircraft
will donate 10% of any profits made during the next month."
Tax-deductible donations can be made to the non-profit: Chrysalis
Community (*for the Trippy Family Hope Chest - in memo area) 9708 Sterling
Road, Richland MI 49083-9553.

This message is being sent to you by Sarah's father, David. I have had
dreams of flying, but life has another plan for me, in helping my family
survive. I am very thankful to Pat from Phantom for all of his support. The
message above is a direct copy of the article in UltralightFLYING magazine,
and it is slightly out of date. More accurate and updated information is
available on our website. Also, you can email me anytime to learn more about
Sarah and our 10 year struggle with brain cancer.
We are also here as a resource for anyone else going through such an ordeal..
My friends encouraged me enough to reach out and share our story. We have
been humbled by the experience and our hearts are filled by every person our
Sarah touches along the way.
Thank you for reading and we invite you to visit our site.
Sincerely,
David - Kalamazoo Michigan
