Hi Kess
Can you refresh my recollection?
What wing root fairing are you referring to?
Thanks.

Re: Wheel Pants
Hey Kess
Any chance at seeing pics of your wing root work? I have 2 JT 2's and I stare at that gap all the time but haven't pictured the end result :-(

Re: Wheel Pants
Somehow my original picture folder got deleted some months ago that had all the details. I made a new folder and have some recent shots of the plane. I will add the wing root fairing pictures. I made mine in aluminum, but I would make the next ones out of fiberglass, and I think that in the JT2 they would be best made out of fiberglass.

Re: Wheel Pants
Hey Mark, if you go to the Earthstar Yahoo site and go to the photos, of the ones I posted if you look close you can see them contrasted with the blue paint. I still will post some of the details and construction. I played with cardboard I got at Walmart to get an idea of the shape, then transferred that to aluminum to cut out and form. I also made a 9” wing extension for each side from the flap inward, then attached my metal fairing to that. One of my Titan friends took my idea and made his with fiberglass and also enjoys the extra benefits.

Re: Wheel Pants
I copied Kess's idea and there is photos in Mikeinthehats Gull 2000 album. My Gull is an older model with the engine mounts sticking straight out so it was harder to round out that area with aluminum. Fiberglass would have worked better.
