Hi Guys,
I just uploaded the photo of my Aircraft Spruce wheel pant installed. It took a bit a fussing around with trimming this and that, and getting the backing plate and axle support bracket done. But now it's tight and strong, and onto the other side, which will be much faster. The nose wheel fairing will be an interesting job too. I will keep you posted.

Hi Kess
On the noes wheel fork. You can cut the cross tube and shorten it than weld
it back to gather so that the fiberglass rods are in side of the pant.

I probably won't do that, as the nose fork will be a difficult job to remove because the builder glued the inside pan thing to the fork. It will have to look like the copy cat airplanes until next winter when I can have the plane down longer. Right now I want to have this project done for the Arlington Fly-In the first week in July, (about 7 weeks away).

I just posted my wheel pant axle mounting bracket photo's. My hangar mate welded the strap across the end of a steel tube, that was made to slip inside the hollow axle. I installed floating 10x32 nutplates to ease getting screws in place, and also on the backing plate tabs too. The second side is going a whole lot faster, now that I've learned and upgraded the second set of brackets as I went.
