Some news on Electric Power

I spent some deep internet time looking to see what is the upcoming technology for battery powered flight.
After all, we all know very well that problem holding back elecric flight is the battery.

Unfortunately, the present reality is all Lithium Ion (Li-Ion), or variations of Lithium based batteries (Lithium-Air / Lithium Sulfur / LiFePO4) that only provide incremental improvements. The weight issue remains huge...and there are cooling problems. Both very serious matters for an aircraft.

The Dual Carbon Battery from Japan Power is on the horizon but I could not find out details on how much the weight might vary from what we see already in place. But, this technology charges 20x faster and also solves the cooling problem.
