Soaring E-Gull with lithium -sulfur batteries

Reading my tea leaves this morning ( at cafe foundation blog and
green car congress ) , I beleive Lithium-Sulfur will give the ultralight
world the jolt to enable 2-3 hour flights with no range anxiety.
Charging forward to the new year ,I hope a manufacturer designs 35-40 pound
modules . My head is spinning with all the possibilities and my hopes soaring.
No short circuits here, we can exit the pattern and go cross country.

Me too! I’m looking for the ultra-high density battery that will allow long flights with short wings. I love the control response and maneuverability of the 20’ wing Gull 2000. After flying it for hours, then a Cessna 150 feels like flying a slug. The Soaring Gull 28’ wing is the most efficient, but the 20’ wing is more fun.
