Single Bing Carb Intake for HKS 700E

Post by rmm_guam »

Here is an HKS 700E user who designed an intake so that the engine uses
only one Bing Carburetor. I don't know much about this area, but
thought the information was worth sharing. RMM

My name is Andy Chiavetta fromAerochia Aircraft. I got an e-mail from
sonex aircraft inquiring about me usingtheir injector body on the HKS
engine. I did some testing with it on theengine. But the HKS not being a
updraft system like the VW engine I could notget it to work properly.
Instead I redesigned the intake to accept a single bingcarburetor.
Installing the single carburetor made it very easy to set up andmade the
engine run much smoother at low rpm. Feel free to give me a call at the
shop and I can explain in more detail of what Ihave found. Andy
