I have been searching around to see other examples of the Odyssey on the
internet. Found this gorgeous Odyssey build. Would like very much to
contact the owners in California. John Caston, according to the photo
credits.
They don't seem to be active on the forum. If anyone knows John, please
see if I could make contact.

Have a look:

If I am not mistaken, the aircraft has some features that are not on all
models...
1- Wing tie down points under the wings.
2- Special muffler on the HKS engine.
3- Small rudder trim tab.
4- Engine Cowling.
5- Landing lights in wing tips.

Re: Beautiful Odyssey Build
yes, yes; beautifully maintained, prominent nose bridge; wondered whether it was build tailoring or a repair later; saved them too, long ago

Re: Beautiful Odyssey Build
I had a wonderful chat this morning with the builder/owner. A 91 year old retired Navy pilot. The plane is now mostly flown by his 89 year old brother.
This Odyssey was built at the Earthstar headquarters under the 51% rule. So the quality gained by having Mark close at hand really shows.
Definitely a beauty!!

Re: Beautiful Odyssey Build
yess, yess!! (that's how the words formed in me mind) plane like that can fly for generations and still look it was built recently
was admiring the looks of the C-17, the downward canted wings, large shoulders at the wing-fuselage boundary, winglets at the engine nacelles, almost like canards; did wonder about the odyssey dynamics with the cowling sporting small winglets like the C-17 nacelles, more load carrying capacity? (would look like Viking's helmet;)
