I built my eGull 3 years ago. Cost of the propulsion system (including
redrive, prop) is comparable to a new HKS installation, around $15k.
Including instruments, radio, strobes, fabric cover and paint, and the
higher cost of the 28ft wing, I have now spent more than $45k. If you
include amortization of some tools (compressor, rivet gun, clecos), and
more importantly, many hours of work, investment comes to well over $60k.
Considering how little flight time the average Experimental or Ultralight
sees, even a 10 year old sample is still rather new. Yes, one can get into
the air for less, but not in something that flies as well or reliably as a
Gull.

Re: 2008 Gull 2000 for sale
niice, Martin; 3 yrs already, felt volta was built just recently
i'd begin with buying your gull+build+tools, ones not in use currently, that you can let go; please list them, no rush
saw (a 2+ years old video of) zero motorcycle folks soak testing their batteries under a shower, must be for a few days at least; did made me feel more comfortable, hardworking guys who save on shaving time too; it's be nice to see their complete load tests&results
would prefer a 2wheel drive if i really need a 2nd bike; 1st one is a 12yo 350cc, expected to last a few decades; wish zero makes a 2x2 bike someday
