14 gal. Fuel tank
My '93 JT2 Thundergull came with an aluminum fuel tankIt is rated at 14 but seems to round out to 15 when full.Itis wedge shaped and a very tight fit. Enough storage on top for a hat. There is a fuel cap outside the fuselage to the lower right of the engine.Supply line to the engine plus sump drain is underneath. It also has access to the back of the tank at the half way point,to tighten a bracket that clamps onto the chromoly tubing at the very aft end of the frame. It appears to be the largest that could possibly fit unless you were to saddle the boom . Carl

Hey Carl,
What engine are you using… and what have you found to be your GPH?
Thanks
John

Hi Carl
I like the light weight plastic 10 gallon tanks, there plenty of gas for the HKS.
Happy flying

The 912ul burns 3 gph at cruise.which for me is around 4700-4800 rpmWith the 3 blade "Kool" prop and cowling this puts me at 100 mph indicated. Pictures of my plane are in the photo sectionIt is the red JT2 with cowling ,dual exhausts and no wheel pants.(next project) The photos where put in there by dunceeconomicsor John Forde Thanks ,Carl
