My stool is quite light, has aluminum legs and canvas like seat out of nylon or something plastic.

let's call them footrests; had four more that could snuggle under a rotating garden (dinner) table; made of bambooish reeds and jute rope weave for the seats

I made mine from an aluminum crutch that fill the Second Chance stores for s couple of bucks.  Made a saddle, pop riveted, to fit the boom and secured with a bungee. Worked like a charm.  As to something to stow in the aircraft, well that's another matter ....

Oh yeah, just got her back in the air after 6 months of hangar time and a lot of upgrades including centering the cg where it belongs as it was almost at the aft limit. I will have it at Arlington again this year along side of Mark’s eGull, showing the upgrade of an ultralight to a LSA. These are really fine birds to fly.

Just a trusty little 52 hp Rotax 503. The plane is happy cruising at 100 mph+ at 5300-5400 rpm and about 3/4 open throttle. When I push the throttle full forward the plane accelerates to 6600 rpm and 120 mph quickly, at least at 2,000’ msl.
