I have damaged my Gull JT2 and have decided to haul it to the factory for repair.
Does any body have any experience in loading and hauling the Gull on a open trailer??
Does any body have a suitable trailer for sale??

Yeah. I hauled my Gull J2 from St. Louis to Dallas a couple of years ago.
You need to make sure that you really wrap the cockpit up very well, in case
of rain. But other than that, they trailer quite well. Where are you?

Hi George, I'm in central Nebraska I'm looking at the possibility of buying
a flat bed trailer to haul it out to Mark, than sell the trailer after I
have finished my hauling.
How big a trailer did you use, and how did you pack the plane on the
trailer??

24 foot trailer. It was designed to handle the airplane. Just bungies and
rope. Plastic wrap around the enclosure.
