Another great day of flying

Today in N Florida, S Georgia and S Alabama was some great flying
weather. Visibility was pretty good being about 12-15 miles, it was
sunny and no clouds, well there were some high ones late in the
afternoon.
Started off this morning going about 24 miles to look at a lot on a
grass field where I am looking at the possibility to build a hangar
and place to stay. Decided it just wasn't quite the right place and
headed back to the airport where I keep my plane.
Got back to my home operating field, topped off and headed off to a
fly-in at Donaldsonville, GA with a flying buddy approximately 59
miles to the West. We had a burger and some drinks, then off we went
to another Fly-in at Headland, AL, another 36 miles to the NW from
Donaldsonville. After a couple of hours there, I headed back home.
Totals hours flown was 3.1 hrs, 234 miles and 7.5 gallons. This
averages out to 31.2 mpg, 2.4 gph and an average speed of 75 mph.
Now two of the above legs I flew with a Challenger II so my speeds
were down low, and on my last leg I averaged about 98 mph, so I flew
the whole gambit in speeds today.
All in all, a good day.
