wildfires near Earthstar?

Mark, are you OK? Tried to call but got "emergency calls only". I see the
fire near 101 is 90% contained, but you probably still have lots of smoke.

Hi it's Mike here yes the fire is close but of no threat to Earthstar, we
did have a lot of smoke but it's mainly gone now :)

touchwood, two in a row nearby is likely miscreant activity. hope they catch the monkeys soon
i faced over a hundred dirty campfires over the five years, by municipal sweepers gathering leaves and burning them instead of composting, around the house, in the green belt, etc. they seemed to be (mis)coordinated with my iPhone activity. had to police them myself for some months, pretty stiff to educate.
was reading the ASHRAE handbook last night, Fundamentals, chapter12, Odors, which describes how the sense of smell is a highly variable emotional response, with a kindling theory in which repeated, intermittent stimuli actually amplify neural responses, instead of adapting to it. it's the lowest unpoliceable suppression weapon out here, next to firecrackers, long story.....
