Lovely video, and plane. What a great place to fly. Your 503 sure sounds
different than mine. Must be the cowling. It appears that you don't use oil
injection. True?

I do use oil injection. I mounted the 25oz bottle on a bracket on the back of the engine, and it sits no higher than the engine. I also installed 45 degree elbows on the throttle cable ends to keep their height down too. You can see the lowered throttle cables in my folder, and maybe the oil bottle too. I have a lot of pitch in the Ivo prop, and I cruise mostly at 5400-5500rpm, which indicates 95-100mph. I'm also running a 68" 3-blade prop at 3:1, so it's noise is not as loud as some 2-blades turning faster.
