Hi,

NASA made this vehicle sketchpad freely available ~2012, windows & mac. will need the 3-view of active models to sketch them. checked the thundergull J construction manual, uploaded a year or two ago, it's only got measurements relevant to assembly and weight&balance. http://hangar.openvsp.org/vspfiles/96

maybe better for an American gull pilot to sketch them, the tool looks to be the easy part. the specs have value, even if it aint a jet or something.

Thanks,
Rahul

I had originally hoped to get a complete 3D model of the Gull2000 from
Mark, and even considered reverse-engineering it in SolidWorks (use it at
work). But it would have cost a lot of valuable building time for not much
gain; the few mods I made were simple enough to come out fine without CAD.

The only other use I see would be for aerodynamic analysis. But once you
fly, you realize there is probably not much room for improvement, and
usually not without tearing into your plane somehow. The only area where I
worried about aerodynamics was the tail of the cabin, just before the prop
disk. Going from tube-and-fabric to fiberglass there allowed concave faces.
The steel tube cage gives some guidance how to shape the skins, but I think
even a couple degrees could have a big effect. Mark?

(offtopic) say do you get your veggies from http://sagercreekveggies.com , Martin? major supply chain issues here, like half a dozen times a year for years now. wish those FDA mailers could pinpoint the last minute additives and antidotes, lotsa water helps to dilute the pollution meanwhile
