Since Mark threw down the gauntlet;the above was found in less than ten seconds.
An unlicensed operator of what was "claimed "to be an ultralight was fined and flew again.
The FAA got a federal judge to charge the violator with contempt of court and he was jailed!.

So unless i think i'm a lot luckier than Joe Btfspik [google it ]and yes it's Btfspik! i'll think twice and thrice.

Hi Lee
Since you have desired not to fly, I recomend reading the book that started us all on this path to discover flight. It was the template that slowed the ultralight movement to unfold out of restrictive regulations and gave us the sprit to push our limits and those of our regulators. This book is pivotal in the development of the form of personal aviation development.

Hi Lee
I acedently hit send in the middle of my suggestion. I was trying to correct some automatic spelling corrections that changed my content. So please dis regard my last post I am rewriting it now.

In 1970 Richard Bock wrote a book that has turned out to be the catalyst for the ultralight movement. He wrote of the life of a seagull that was faced by the restrictions on creative thinking that stopped development in his flock. He pushed ahead in his creative experiments in spite of the disproval of his elders and paid the price.
He created a technology of flight not possible wile following the edict of the fear full elders.
Please read the book, johnathen Livinstion Seagull by Richard Bach.
Millions of people have found it inspirational. Including the FAA,
They have bent over backwards to wright far 103 to allow an entry point for creative people to come to aviation at an affordable leavle,
And 10s of thousands have progressed to general aviation and on in to evan the space program, were the ideas of experimentation and observation as taught by Johnithan have led us in to a place of technical glory that we are in today.
It's a good read for any one interested in flight.

If you don't have a copy I will mail mine to you so you can read it and send it back wen you are done.
Happy Flying
Mark
