Tolerances on Thundergull Stabilator

I have had the brackets replaced in 2007 on my JT2.There is a slight fore/aft playin it now.How much play is in tolerance.Is there a through the boom sleaved upgrade ? Just asking. BTW my sigle seat Soaring Gull ULTRALIGHT takes me everywhere I want to go. Carl
