Allan,
Thanks for your sharing of battery info. I just did some math on the gas used for the 503 for 500 hours of flying. At $3.50 a gallon, and 4 gallons/hour, that's about $7,000. If the lipo's can last 500 hours, and be replaced for $7,000, that's not a bad deal right now. The cost of the electric motor is probably less than a new 503, and at 500 hours, it doesn't need a rebuild. Hmmmmmm................. . . . . .
