Folding wing Thundergull

Take a look on Barnstormers, search Thundergull.
There is a plane for sale that looks like a JT2 and was folding wings.
It is new to me. Perhaps Mark could give us a history of the plane. I sure looks interesting.

Just spoke with Mark. According to him, it is an early "F" type (folding wing) and looks to be pretty much unmodified since its build in the late 80's. I am currently talking with the owner about its purchase. Has a 447 inverted and no flaps...just full length ailerons. No cantilevered wing of course. Type "F" were made with 24-28' wingspan (which I kind of like...considering no flaps)
Just joined the list in anticipation of my purchase. Any suggestions to look for when I look it over this week?

I have one for sale f modle has not been in the air for awhile to much
going on to get it in the air has 503 electric start call 336-465-1059
7500.00 brs located north Carolina will get it flying buy end of august
