Fiberglass Fuel tanks?

Hi Mark
Have you ever explored fiberglass tanks?
They are easy to make as far as fitting a pre existing cavity.
Vinylester is gas and alcohol proof.
Just wondering how the weight comparison stacks up with the plastic tanks.
Instead of glass fiber, carbon fiber could be used to reduce its weight dramatically.
Also no condensation issues.
Thanks
Fred

I have built many Fiberglass tanks, Than I switched to aluminum,
condensation problems but a fraction of the time to build. Both are several times
heaver than the plastic tanks and non are as tough as the plastic tanks.
I Love plastic tanks!
Happy flying
