Concrete Fly-In

Yes, it was the season of the flying bricks again as our 2015 summer fly-ins continue. All in all, it was a thin showing of planes due to fuzzy visibility from a low cloud deck, and to losing some attendee's to Oshkosh. I canceled my 9am departure and went back home for a couple of hours and later departed at 1pm. Even though the turnout was thin, the Gull got lot's of lookers. I made a display board that I put on the instrument panel when I'm parked that describes what the Gull has as standard equipment and design, and what I've added to it. And inadvertently leaving the GoPro on gave me some funny candid camera moments when I was not around. And of course my departure back home included a quick low pass back down the runway as I was leaving. Oh what fun! Mark's plane continues to amaze people in it's performance and looks.
