Hello Mark, Martin and all Gulls,
Do you think we ought to reel in ThunderBuzz as a ThunderGull celebrity?
some context below,
Buzz (87yo, @TheRealBuzz) is quite active in aerospace public awareness on twitter, last few weeks. also a USAF "thunderbird celebrity" with a nice stitchwork badge. still flies an F-16 with his name on it, but kind of sad they won't let him keep it. busy dashing across timezones, from melbourne, buzzing space-X launch in florida, homes in between, in seattle now. likes to be called "thunderbuzz" now.
Tweeted him a couple times about thundergull. getting a positive response, not direct yet. obviously, since i just shared with him an earthstar odyssey as a concept, with age&greatgrandkids and all, for his own safety, avoiding appearing as a dreaded coldcalling salesman pitch; while his latest tweet's about selling black martian tshirts at the space needle. (we do share similar anchor shaped beards; lead came via @jack)
