My JT2  came with a 14 gallon aluminum tank. I fly with the Rotax 912ul 80 hp engineMy fuel burn is a@ 3 gallons an hour when the RPM's are in the 4800-4900 range. Speed @ 95-100.    I also have Mark's Soaring Gull with the HKS engine. and yes Mark ,10 gallons provides lots of rangebecause I cruise in the 4750-5000 range.    The guys in my flying club have modified two cycle Rotax 582's (600+ cc's and @90+ hp ) in Rans S12xl pusher prop airplanes. .They burn a lot of fuel ..I don't think any amount of fuel would satisfy their thirsty engines because the weight penalty would just keep going up...   One day they will see the light...and re-power to a 4-cycle engine.
