Hey Alan, do you still have your 'old' plane for sale?

Thank you for the explanation, Jim.
I placed a photo of the "HKS Super Quiet Muffler" that I got with my
kit, in the HKS photo section of the ThunderGull Yahoo site. From
your description, I think that it may be the same one that Mark is
sending to you. It was an extra cost option on my kit price list. I
will be very interested to hear how you installation goes, because I
have not got to that stage with my kit yet. The one thing that
worries me a little, is that since it is all one solid welded
assembly there is going to be a very critical tolerance in getting
it to line up with the exhaust ports on the engine.

As far as my kit progress is going, I have got the wing up to the
stage where I will be installing the skins for the next few weeks. I
checked the wing for square today, and it came out right on the
money. I also did the initial washout check, and it came out to
exactly 2 degrees at each wing tip. Since I am a firts time kit
aircraft builder, I think this says a lot more for Mark's kit design
and assembly process, than it does for any skill on my part. I am
just following his instructions as carefully as I can. So far, I
have only found two AN4-7A bolts missing from the kit, so my order
seems to have been pretty well kitted so far. I ordered some bolts
and extra rivets from Wicks, in hopes that I will not run out of
something I need at a critical time.
