Nice, that's a good idea.
I was looking at the "pop rivet" static ports that Vans provides for their ports. Seems nice and simple, and I do have a lathe so it might be fun to try to make a couple.

6 of us fly-guys were talking about this at breakfast. Possible the slightly raised area around the disc may affect the airflow as we are all trying to figure this out. 3 Gulls and 3 Titan Tornado’s (imitation Gulls) in our group. I noticed on a Bonanza that the port is naked, just a hole in the skin with the hose on the backside somehow. we will be doing static port tests with the reference being the 20’ tube hanging out the back of the plane that Mark talked about. More to follow.

Kess bless ya. Maaark, gull pilots need to maintain decorum in forum conversations; hashbang without a name in the from email header field, tit, naked port on bonanza, huh.

Funny, Rahul! You got us.
Seriously, though, I am grateful that we have managed to keep foul and
sexist language off our forum. And partisan politics!

I finally remembered to take some photos of my static ports.
I made the aperture rather small, to keep the critters out. All we need is
to sense the pressure - very little air will be flowing. Also, note the
angle of the barb - I used 120° elbows, not the ones I showed earlier.
Flew for an hour this morning, and not always at most economical power
settings - still had 19% charge remaining.
