Thanks. I plan on visiting with Mark at OSH and seeing what he shows up with and witnessing the performance. I watched him fly his Egull last year and was impressed. I suspect he will have something electric and better this year. I have a project to get out of the way and then will maybe jump into an EGull. It just makes so much sense. I think the price of the batteries is coming down and the motors are getting better. But, it is so hard to tell as nobody talks about it, even Mark is hard to get an update on the state of the art.

Kevin –

Googled your little airpark, looks nice. What are you flying now?

I will be at OSH (as I was last year, probably stood next to each other at some point), will have to track each other down.

By the way, I am going (again) to the Cafe E-Flight symposium April 25/26. If you are into the most technical E-flight stuff in the US, it’s the one…

I have a homebuilt Cub and my second build of an RV-6 and am finishing up a Sonerai I. But, that all said, I would really like to go electric for all the benefits and simplicity. I like most people usually fly solo, or would prefer to, for about 20 minutes a pop two or three times a week. Electric would fill that bill just right, even with current technology.
