I elected to go without the BRS. Instead, I have the charger installed in
the nose. I hope to put the Quark on scales this weekend, and that W&B
comes out OK.

No floorboard. All avionics worked on first power-up! Just installed two
static ports.

With less than 50 miles range, making Arlington next year would be a
challenge. I probably won't make it up until I have a trailer, or if Mark
can pick the Quark up on his way (as we had planned for this year). Or
until I go for next-gen batteries...

which charger are you planning to use? What's the panel rework on the D cell, ~6' each way from the fuselage? liked that Mini-X added a stall warning feature, is there a pitch & speed combination, calibration sequence of maneuvers post install?

quark's nose feels quite spacious. a (wankel) generator could almost hide in there. thought the space was taken up by a big foot sole chromoly guard, then foot pedals & a 12V battery.
