Personally, I love to get any info about the e-gull. I keep looking for recent videos on YouTube😁

I third the motion. It’s interesting to read and if not, deletion is just a button push. Please post

Dick, I have a Gull J2 With an Hks 700e. I was just at Brian Ranch last week. Mark Beierle has suggested a couple of times that we should talk. I’d like to connect. Can you email me directly?

I can squeak out about 105 mph indicated at sea level or so.

I'm not sure my panel will fit a G3X I'd like to install. Has anyone fiddled with an idea for a larger pod in the Odyssey?

I split my instrument panel along the sides and inserted wedges of aluminum skin to widen the front to take the large Dynon display. I was very happy with the result and enjoy flying with the larger display. I've attached some photos.

Very nice, Darren! I had forgotten how limited the panel space is on
Odysseys, but you made it work. We amateur builders are a crafty bunch!
Does the extra height obstruct forward vision?
The battery backup in the Dynon will kick in if your 12V goes away. But
what if the Dynon goes blank?

Gary (Carter) has a nice panel too with a big compass on top of the panel, likely a sailboat's semi hemispeherical one. in the forum image folders. he’s been quiet few years now, with two more really fast planes. Touchwood, 2cents, Rahul

Very nice, I might have to do something like that. I was looking through an image search of helicopter pods, getting some inspiration. Most of those are metal, though.
