I also have a 2 1/2 gallon can that I used before I rigged up my pressurized fuel caddy. I brought my gas in 5 gallon cans, and poured into the 2 1/2 gallon one that is easy to dispense into the tank, but that took 3-4 trips. For me, I would rather use air and a long hose to the caddy, which is much quicker. The downside of my daydream, is that it is a beast to pick up after re-fueling, of which I limit to 12 gallons.

Hi Kess
I remember those days when I used to fly the 503. Now I fly the HKS and use
1/2 the gas. Makes it easer to fill the tank.
Happy Flying

Hi Mark
I also run the 503 gas guzzler, but am saving my pennies for a HKS.
Do 4 or 5 bladed props ever come into the equation?
Fred
gas just hit $1.33 a litre for low octane (Canada)

Hi
Gas hit $4.21 per Gallon for regular here.
More blades than 3 is not good unless you slow down the prop with a higher
ratio redrive.
I tested a 5 6 blade with a 4 to 1 on a Honda civic turbo charged engine we
built up and it was extremely quiet! But heavy.
Happy Flying
