Ted, what a cool idea! I use mostly time in flight, then have to land to see the actual level, as there is no way to see the tank in flight. I've tried to mount mirrors, but that hasn't worked either. I think I will check e-bay.

Hi Fred,
The aluminum tank came with the Gull. The previous owner said it is a race car tank. I don,t know what happened to the fiberglass tank in the build photos.

Just curious, how many gallons is the tank? Do you have a bottom sump to drain any condensed water that might accumulate? Thanks

Hi Fred,
The tank is 10 gals Imp or 12 US. It does not have a sump so I use a T connection off the tank with the bottom leg to a drain so this is where water and debris will collect and drain a little before every flying day.
