"chord" edges? Not sure what you mean. The fabric panels do not go all the
way to the center, but I used tape where they meet the center section
aluminum skins - essentially along the edges that I masked with blue tape
in "prepping wing for fabric". In general, use tape over any fabric edge on
aluminum (not on fabric overlaps).
